Adjust optical parameters
Built as light, not decoration.
The streak and reflections respond to the source’s position. Light coupling peaks just inside the edge, then gently reduces farther inward. There is no independent pulsing, spinning, or rainbow colour cycling.
Composite: Earth + sky → thin atmosphere → veiling glare → ghost ellipses → optional micro-ghosts → source bloom → main streak. Optical layers use screen blending above the scene; the Earth still occludes the stars, not the lens reflections.
Inspired by Caldwell’s restrained Chameleon character and Brian Caldwell’s description of its blue horizontal flare. This is an artistic approximation, not ray tracing or a manufacturer-endorsed simulation. The existing generated Earth plate is illustrative, not a geographic reference.
